We are seeking to fill at least three impending vacancies on the Executive Committee at the April Annual General Meeting, including:
- Communications Officer
- Member at Large
- Overseas Representative(s) (Europe and/or elsewhere—we are open to suggestion)
Any member of the BSLS is eligible to be nominated for (and serve in) an open post, except that it is expected that overseas representatives be based in the regions they represent. Members of the committee serve three-year terms of office. The chair will happily have exploratory discussions with interested members.
Any member can propose themselves or someone else. Proposed candidates require two nominations from BSLS members other than themselves, and these proposals and nominations should be sent to the chair, Barri Gold (gold@sas.upenn.edu) and the secretary, Adele Guyton (adele.guyton@kuleuven.be). Expressions of interest and proposals should ideally be received before the annual conference (10 April).
